Best Buddies

Ever since our friends, the Davis', and Tone' and I had our eldest boys we have talked about them being best friends for life. We all get along so well we figured our boys will too, right? Well, the first 3 years of their life they were pretty much at a "take him or leave him" stance. I was beginning to worry that our pre-arranged friendship wasn't going to work out, and mostly due to our own Nikolas who had, (how do I put this nicely)....... issues.

Not to worry now, though! In the last few months they have suddenly been turning into the best of buddies. Now they actually hug each other when getting together, have asked to stay the night at the other one's house and spend hours running around together getting into mischief. (Well, they are boys.) ((Girls never get into mischief))



Their friendship was even more apparent while at the beach for our church campout. They had a great time climbing trees....

Putting rocks down their shirts,

Chasing waves,




being chased by waves,

feeding each other cheerios,

and being generally goofy!

I truly hope they do stay best buddies for life.
