The Pumpkin Patch

On the spur of the moment I decided to go to the pumpkin patch with the boys. The sky was clear, the sun was bright, the air was warm and they just happened to both be wearing orange.
I was so hoping to get a cute picture of the boys together but Nikolas just would not stay still. He knew what he was doing too as he kept running in every direction except towards the camera.
Here he is off looking for pumpkins to jump over, it was sometimes hard to find him as he really did blend in.
He found one and I snapped a picture a split second before he jumped off and ran for another one.
Lukas was picture perfect though as he can't really move fast yet and he pretty much loves to give mama all the attention she wants. He was really into this pumpkin and was sucking on it and beating it with all his might.
We also went on a hay ride around the farm. Nik loved being pulled by a tractor and sitting on haybales and Lukas was pretty excited about all the scenery and the yummy hay he kept chewing on.
Hopefully we can make it to some more pumpkin patches before the rains come and we don't see the light of day until next spring sometime. ( I'm not really a fall or winter person, if you couldn't tell).

It gets bad when you are posting an hour after I have gone to bed!

Great photos of the boys and the pumpkins! Can you send me the orange Lukas picture for his book? :)

YOU WENT!!! :) That's okay, I certainly understand taking advantage of the moment when a good opportunity strikes. Especially with weather and the ever-changing moods of a two-year-old and a baby. ;)

Those pictures are REALLY cute. The one of Nik sitting on the pumpkin is adorable. You guys certainly make 'em cute!
